"2009 HEART OF OHIO GOLF TOURNAMENT"
The “Heart of Ohio Tournament” is an annual golf tournament that Hickory Grove Golf Club is proud to host. The Heart of Ohio Tournament is a two day tournament held on Saturday June 20th and Sunday June 21nd, 2009. This year marks the forty-forth year that the tournament has been held at Hickory Grove Golf Club. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome to sign up. 
The "Heart of Ohio Tournament" is a 36 hole medal play tournament with no cut. You will play eighteen holes on Saturday and eighteen holes on Sunday.
The cost to sign up is fifty-five dollars, if you are a current member at Hickory Grove Golf Club and sixty-five dollars if not you are not a current member. Keep in mind that the field is limited to 156 entries. For a 2009 Heart of Ohio Tournament application form please click here. Entries close on Monday, June 15th. The earlier the entry is turned in, the less likely you are to be shut out due to the tournament meeting its maximum capacity of participants.
Check back here Wednesday, June 17th for you tee time on saturday. Parings for sunday will be based on you score from saturday.

There are three different flights of play. These flights are based on a verified USGA handicap attested by your club's pro, handicap chairman, or league secretary. Gift certificates will be awarded to the top finishers in each flight.

In addition to the three tournaments flights, you may also qualify to compete for two additional memorial trophies listed below.
The J. Craig Bowman Memorial Trophy is awarded to the top High School or Collegiate golfer with the lowest 36 hole total.
Trevor Bowman won this award last year with a score of 138
The Jim Rairdon Memorial Trophy is awarded to the top golfer that is 50 years of age or older with the lowest 36 hole total.
Jeff Sparks won this award last year with a score of 143
